One of my rules for my regular shopping is the store must be near my home. Close to home is relative because if you live in thr country 15 miles may be a short drive. For me it means within about 3 miles. Fortunately I have 2 Targets, an Albertsons, 3 Vons, Ralphs, Smart and Final, Rite Aid, 4 CVS stores, a mall and more within those 3 miles. What isn’t near my house? Walmart and Walgreens. I have to fight the temptation when I see great deals but it wouldn’t be worth the time or gas for me to run to Walmart for a couple freebies.
