Free or cheap Welch’s Sparkling Juice

Go to www.coupons.com to print the $2/2 Welch’s sparkling juice coupon and you could have yourself some free juice.  Last week it was $1 at my CVS (although the display said $2).

Thanks, $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge!

CVS- Week of 1/3/10

I’m a little disappointed with the CVS deals this week but have read Christmas clearance items are discounted 75-90% so that may brighten my trip.  Here are my favorite items this week.  For a complete list of CVS deals this week click HERE.  For a great deal scenario click HERE

GE Energy Smart Bulbs $2.99
Buy 1, Receive $2.00 Extra Bucks, Limit 1
$1.00/1 – GE Compact Fluorescent Lighting – (coupons.com)
$1.00/1 – (IE) GE Lightbulbs – (bricks.coupons.com)

Use the B1G1 FREE Oust coupon from SS 1/3
Get $3 ECBs (limit 3)
Final Price: 2 for FREE, plus $2 overage in ECBs

Edit: I don’t think the Oust ECB deal is valid at my local CVS.  On the upside, if you have the $1.50/1 Welch’s sparkling grape juice coupons from the newspaper a couple months ago this is now a money maker as they are 99 cents each.  I also got free Stacy’s pita chips and free International Delights creamer with coupons from becoming a Facebook fan of these companies.

Rite Aid & CVS- Thurs-Sat

Edit: Here’s the coupon to double your extra bucks you can find throughout CVS stores.  Edit: Looks like it only doubles the 2% back yu receive each quarter to 4%.  I asked a couple CVS employees and they thought it meant it doubled all ECBs but I have read on several blogs that it is just the percent back- not nearly as exciting.

We made our trips to Rite Aid & CVS this morning and I am amazed at what we brought home for what will be less than $10 after rebates.  You can only get one rebate per household so unless you have two addresses you cannot do both Rite Aid trips.

Rite Aid #1 paid $16.12, will receive $17 in SCR, $0.88 money maker

1 Febreeze air freshener $3.29, $1 coupon, $1 SCR

Rite Aid #3 cost: $0.90

10 packages of Schick razors for 99 cents each (regularly 7..79)

Used $1 off peelie from each package

Each one cost only tax of 9 cents, we will be using these as stocking stuffers and to donate to a local shelter.

*I’m not sure if you can get a rebate for both the earphones and remote so I am keeping my receipt

At CVS I started with $10 ECB so it was very easy to do this inexpensively.  Be sure to use a coupon, found throughout the store, to double your ECB.  You don’t receive this now but will receive in January.  I cannot find my receipts right now but basically purchased things in this order with less than $1-2 out of pocket each time.

CVS #1

2 Soleil razors $6.99 each, earn $5 ECBs each

Used 2-$2/1 coupons

Used $10 ECB, received $10 ECB

CVS #2

1 Phillips earphones $6.99, earn $6.99 ECB

2 Degree Deodorant $4, earn $4 ECB

Used $1 mfg coupon for Degree

Used $10 ECB, received $10 ECB

CVS #3

1 Twix King size $1.59, earn $1.59 ECB

1 M&M dark (free with mfg coupon, BOGO)

1 Colgate Total $2.88, get $2 ECB

1 Universal Remote $6.99, received $6.99 ECBs

Used BOGO M&M Mars

Used $0.75 off Colgate mfg coupon

Used $10.49 ECB, received $10+ ECB

I can’t find this receipt right now but here’s the general idea, might have been 2 trips

CVS #4

1 St Ives $3.99, receive $3 ECB

1 Vaseline Lotion $7.99

1 Herbal Essences $3, receive $2 ECB

Used $1 Herbal Essences coupon

1 Hershey $0.89, receive 0.89 ECB

Used $1.50 Vaseline lotions

Used ECBs for most

*Printable coupons can be found in past CVS and Rite Aid post links from the last couple days.

CVS Black Friday

Ok, maybe I spoke too soon when I said I was not going out on Black Friday.  After reading a few of the black Friday delas at pharmacies I may have to hit up Rite Aid and CVS.  Autumn already posted on Rite Aid but for the CVS deals that inspired me check out Saving with Shellie’s post here.  I already hae $10 ECB so I think I could get a lot of great stuff by multiple postings.

*Also be on the lookout for a coupon to double your ECBs.  I found mine by the register last week.  It sounds like just using it once will double your ECBs in November-December for use in January.

Current Rebates

There are some great rebates out there right now.  Just be sure to save your receipts, UPCs and to send it in on time.

SC Johnson Rebate

Buy 3 SC Johnson products and receive a $5 rebate.  Products included are Ziploc, Glade, Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles, Pledge, Shout, Fantastik, Drano, Raid, Off, Saran, and Nature’s Source.  I have combined this with Glade coupons and the $5 gift card offer at Target to make candles free or even turn this into a money maker.  The great thing about this rebate is you can redeem 3 per address and it’s good until June!

Olay ProX Rebate

Receive a $20 rebate when you spend $50 on Olay Pro X products.  I received a full size free sample of the ProX Wrinkle smoothing Cream last month through Vocalpoint.  I love it but couldn’t rationalize the price.  With this rebate, my $10 off coupons and $5ECB at CVS (through Saturday 11/7) I now think I can.  Plus, match this with a $5 off coupon HERE or HERE (this one is not working for me but many blogs say if you take a Medicare quiz you can print a $5 off $30 coupon) and any ECBs you have and you may be able to get a couple products for $45 after rebates and ECBs (products are regularly $47+ each).

Nabisco Rebate

Save $10 when you buy and 10 Nabisco crackers, Easy Cheese or Planters Nuts.  Here’s a coupon to get you startedI was able to get the crackers on a great sale and use coupons so this was a money maker for me.  You may want to include UPCs even though it does not expressly ask for them, I found a post about last year’s rebate that did not mention sending them in but people reported receiving a postcard after the fact that they were not eligible to receive the rebate because they had not sent UPCs.

Newspaper Rebates

Be sure to watch your paper’s coupons for rebate deals.  Retailers will often inlcude a coupon and a mail in offer for new products.  I got some great Palmolive dish soap last month and currently have one for Finesse.
