Rite Aid Deals 2/5-2/11
The last month has been a whirlwind of getting my new event lighting company set up. Aside from business expenses I have been saving a lot of money- by not going shopping. I’m ready to get back in the game and Rite Aid has some great freebies this week to get me started. Remember, if you live in CA like me, the sales change Friday so you will need to do your shopping by Thursday. The ladies that work at my Rite Aid on Thursday nights know me by name. This week my procrastination may pay off because Jennifer at Saving and Giving posted there will be a 25% off cosmetics sale Thursday (2/11) through Saturday (2/13)

Rite Aid
Go here for $5 off $25 purchase.
There are quite a few deals going for the month of December at Rite Aid by using a combination of the December Single Check Rebate (SCR) (see here for details), the Holiday Gift of Savings (see here), the Video Values and the coupons. The great thing about Rite Aid is that the $25 purchase is before you use coupons. Plus, the Holiday Gift of Savings is also before you use coupons.
During the month of November with these combinations I was able to purchase $130 (full price) worth of products for $29 (after getting my rebate). If I were to buy these items just on sale the total would have been $85!
This week at Rite Aid (there is less this week than the last few weeks, but it still counts towards the gift of savings program.):
Dawn Dishwashing Liquid $0.99 each use $1/1 from 11/30 p&g (final price free)
Cambells (chicken & rice, vegetable, tomato or chicken noodle) BOGO use $0.50/2 (tomatoe) or $1.00/4 here (final price varies)
Arm & Hammer Baking Soda BOGO use $0.50/2 here (final price varies)
Scoth Pop Up Tape Dispenser $4.28/2. Buy 2, submit for $3.29 SCR and use $1/1 – Scotch Pop up Tape (3m.com). Final Price: $2.28 OOP, $1.00 Money Maker after SCR
GE Reveal Light Bulbs (40, 60, 75 or 100 Watt) 4-pk $5.00/2. Buy 2, submit for $2 SCR and use the $1/1 from SS 11/22. Final Price: $3.00 OOP, $1.00 for 2 (4pks) after SCR.

Rite Aid & CVS- Thurs-Sat
Edit: Here’s the coupon to double your extra bucks you can find throughout CVS stores. Edit: Looks like it only doubles the 2% back yu receive each quarter to 4%. I asked a couple CVS employees and they thought it meant it doubled all ECBs but I have read on several blogs that it is just the percent back- not nearly as exciting.
We made our trips to Rite Aid & CVS this morning and I am amazed at what we brought home for what will be less than $10 after rebates. You can only get one rebate per household so unless you have two addresses you cannot do both Rite Aid trips.

Each one cost only tax of 9 cents, we will be using these as stocking stuffers and to donate to a local shelter.
*I’m not sure if you can get a rebate for both the earphones and remote so I am keeping my receipt
At CVS I started with $10 ECB so it was very easy to do this inexpensively. Be sure to use a coupon, found throughout the store, to double your ECB. You don’t receive this now but will receive in January. I cannot find my receipts right now but basically purchased things in this order with less than $1-2 out of pocket each time.
CVS #1
2 Soleil razors $6.99 each, earn $5 ECBs each
Used 2-$2/1 coupons
Used $10 ECB, received $10 ECB
CVS #2
